High potential and gifted education

At Dubbo Public School, we are committed to supporting every student to achieve their personal best. In line with the NSW Department of Education’s High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) Policy, we provide a range of opportunities designed to nurture and extend students’ abilities across all four domains of potential — intellectual, creative, social-emotional, and physical.

Our programs and activities are designed to engage, challenge and inspire all learners, encouraging them to explore their interests, develop their talents, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

Below are some of the opportunities available for students to participate in and extend their learning beyond the classroom.

Why choose us for your high potential or gifted child?

Our students can participate in a wide range of state-wide opportunities that aim to extend and enrich student potential.
